Report something

For the full policy this links into, see House rules.

Most reports start in-context. Every profile, post, message, comment, photo, event, and community has a report affordance — three dots or a flag icon, depending on the surface. That's the fastest path: it carries the link to what you're reporting, so we don't have to ask.

For something without a clear in-app target — off-platform conduct, a pattern across accounts, an account you can't find now — email us. Include a URL or username if you can.

What happens next

You'll see acknowledgement within 7 days. Most reports resolve within 14. Priority categories — content depicting minors, NCII, active threats, in-progress outing — jump the queue, and we work them the same day in nearly every case. We tell you in plain language what we did, or what we decided not to do and why.

If we acted on your account and you think we got it wrong, the path is /appeal, not this page.
